It happens to us all, sooner or later! My policy expired, and the insurer sent a new updated policy. When I read the new premiums, I almost fainted! And then, reading further, there was a paragraph written in very bold and large letters, something that said they were obliged by law to tell me that the new policy was in fact overpriced, and I could do better.
At that point I decided to look into other options, especially because my agent of 20 years had disappeared, the office was closed, the insurer couldn't assist me in finding the agent, and I had never had any notification that the agency was apparently out of business—nowhere and no one to be found.
So, based upon its long history, I chose State Farm. State Farm has always had a great reputation, and is, I believe the largest insurer in North Carolina. So why not look into the best! I found an agent whose office was in my area, and decided to call.
Which is how I found Wayne Britt of Pam Herndon. It turned out to be a very fortunate choice for me. Wayne answered the phone, and immediately we started to work on the quote. I found him to be very knowledgeable, courteous, interested in getting his clients the best quotation he could put together, honorable, asked all the right questions, and suggested some things I hadn't thought of. Additionally, he assisted me through setting up my State Farm account and my premium payment, the method of which was a bit unusual due to the way my bank's payment system is set up. So, the phone calls were hot and heavy for a while, until he was able to finally smooth out the last details. Through it all, he was patient, responsive, and professional.
Considering all of the above, I suggest that you should look into working with Wayne if you are in need of a quote. I assure you that you won't go wrong if you do.
